Your Five Favorite Recipes of All Time
in the Time of COVID-19
I imagine that you are cooking much more since our restaurants have been shut down. Except, of course, for takeout in much of the country. So I thought that this is a great time to share with you your top five favorite recipes from the blog since its inception in January 2017. These are your favorites. How do I know? I went to my blog analytics to see what recipes were read by most readers. So here are your top five. If we are still “in the time of COVID-19” next Monday, I will post the balance of the top ten.
Your Five Favorite Recipes:
Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding
is at the Top of Your List
Well, this one was not a surprise! But I had no idea it ranked number one of all recipes. I loved making this Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding because it combines my love of bread pudding with my addiction to Krispy Kreme glazed donuts. If you purchase your donuts at the grocery store, you do not have to wait as long for them to get stale because they may be stale already.
Your #2 Favorite Recipe: Sartù di Riso
Coming in at number two is Sartù di Riso. This is a complex and multi-step dish, but the result is impressive, and it is super delicious. Interestingly this recipe pops up on my analytics every week as a top search item. Hence, its popularity comes from being on the blog almost since its inception but also because lots of folks want to make a Sartù.
Landing in the middle at #3 of
the Top Five Favorite Recipes:
Roasted Veggie Chili
Hey, what can I say, who doesn’t love chili? And this Roasted Veggie version is chock full of veggies that do not alter or overwhelm the classic flavors that everyone has come to expect in a chili. I make Roasted Veggie Chili whenever the temperatures fall because it is always a great warm me up kind of meal.

Your Five Favorite Recipes
Ranking #4: Cauliflower Cheesy Bread

(No Bread)
The timing of making Cauliflower Cheesy Bread was at the beginning of the cauliflower in place of bread phase was all the rage. It is still quite popular, so it is still no surprise that this remains in our top five. It has melted cheese in it and on it. What is there not to love about this one.

Bring up the Back of the Pack at #5:
Refrigerator Casserole
Everyone needs a Refrigerator Casserole in their back pocket. This one works for breakfast, lunch, brunch, or dinner. (If you like eggs for dinner, which I do!) Prepare the night before, let it sit in the fridge overnight and presto chango you have a complete meal. Add a salad when serving at lunch, brunch, or dinner. Boom. Done.
I hope that you enjoy this post and give any of all of these recipes a try. If you do, let me know by leaving me a note in my comment section.
That is all for now. Stay healthy and stay safe.
Cheers,
